Mac, iPhone and iPad. The on-device AI needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence, running macOS 26, iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. On unsupported hardware the app still works, but files notes manually instead of automatically.

On Mac, choose Capture → Import from Apple Notes. You'll see what was found before anything is written, and you choose where the notes land: keep your existing folders, put everything in one folder, or let the AI organise them. Running import again only brings in what's new — nothing is duplicated.

Notes that are password-protected in Apple Notes can't be imported: Apple doesn't make a locked note's contents available to other apps. Unlock them in Apple Notes first if you want them here.

Yes, any time. Settings → Export to Markdown writes one .md file per note, in folders matching your tree, with the metadata as YAML front matter. It opens straight in Obsidian or any text editor. No lock-in.

Every filed note shows a line explaining the choice, and a Move button to overrule it. The AI does the work; you always have the last word.

When several notes look like they're about one thing, the app proposes a folder for them rather than creating one behind your back. Choose Make it or Not now; declining means you won't be asked about that group again.

Yes. After a manual tidy the result card has an Undo button that restores renamed folders and recreates merged ones with their notes.

Sync applies the next time the app opens — a note store's iCloud setting is fixed once the store is open, so the app tells you to quit and reopen. Check that both devices are signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive on, and that Pro is active.

Locking encrypts a note on your device; opening it needs Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. The key is stored in your iCloud Keychain, so a note locked on one device opens on your others. Locking currently covers text and checklists — a note with a photo or PDF can't be locked yet, because those attachments aren't encrypted and a half-locked note would be misleading.

Settings → Recently deleted. Deleted notes stay there for 30 days and can be put back with one tap.

Cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device; deleting the app doesn't cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
